Brown glass from the pacific

Brown glass from the pacific

These tiny brown bottles are a mystery to me. There are remnants of identical brown bottles on the back side of this rock. There coral and seashell fragments inbedded in this rock. I hope someone can tell me the approximate age of these corked bottles and the purpose of them. Also possibly the origin of this brown glass.

Thanks!

Little bottles

I believe those are the old bottles that held nitro glyerin pills one puts under their tongue for heart pain...the bottle gets disfigured if left in direct sunlight too long....that may be a firebrick for an old stove they are embedded in..
