Where was this sea glass photo taken?

This photo was taken on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

I found this piece at Fortuna Bay on the south west side of the island.

Date, time of day, and weather conditions?

This was taken on a sunny afternoon a day after some heavy rains and high surf.

What were your feelings or impressions when taking this sea glass photo?

I feel like this piece of sea glass is different. It caught my attention.

So far I have not seen any that looks so much like crystal or ice.

It is smooth but doesn't have the usual frosted look.

What kind of camera and/or lens did you use?

I used my Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone.

What tips do you have for taking good photos of sea glass?

Look for interesting, contrasting backgrounds to photograph your piece.
