Lake Michigan Beach Glass - Any Clue???

Lake Michigan Beach Glass - Any Clue???

Just wondering if anyone would have a clue as to what type of glass this is or where it might have originated.

It is very thick clear glass with a tan line of paint or something like paint that is actually in the glass.

Then next to the paint??? is tan glass. Found on the shore of
Lake Michigan
.

I have several of pieces like this ranging in sizes.

I found all of mine on on a North Devon beach in the UK over a period of 8 months whilst living there & my first piece absolutely baffled me for days as to what it was, & where it had come from initially I thought it was half glass & half stone…. It was a thing of beauty. Finally after a LOT of head scratching & digging around on the internet, I was informed (I do believe it was on this site), that it was part of an old black & white tv screen. To this day it remains one of my favourite things I’ve ever found whilst beachcombing.

Where did you find the beach glass?

Was it near a city or old dump? For a TV, you would think so. What beach was this found on?

The darker glass was part of the screen, and it was connected to the clear glass that was part of the inside of the tv.

I found a piece like this in Hong Kong. Someone told me it was from an old TV.
