No frosting?

Found this very smooth and shiny , size of a Half- Dollar piece of Sea Glass on Pawleys Island,South Carolina this morning.

Can someone give me a reason why it isn’t frosted?

It has ripples and a few bubbles on its flat smooth bottom and is rounded on top.

Any info you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Most likely it’s new glass not battered enough from the environment of the sea
