Odiorne Point State Park near Rye, New Hampshire.

A few nice jewelry pieces up to the size of a dime found in 90 minutes.

Lots of nice craft glass in greens, light blues and whites.

I was there late in the day during a weekend with events at the Science Center, and suspect that during the non-busy times it would be less picked over.

Rate the beach: -X- Good - 5 to 9 pieces of jewelry grade sea glass found per hour.* See note below

How to get there:

Follow signs to the parking lot for the Pacific Coast Science Center.

There is a minimal park entrance fee, and an extra fee is required if you go into the center (well worth it!)

Best glass was at the high tide area on the beach at the end of the parking lot nearest the playground. 

Bigger, rougher pieces found in the rocky tide pools.

Wow! I use to take my 4th grade students to Odiorne Point State Park Beach for tide pooling.

Never knew of Sea Glass back then!

Now I have an excuse to go back there!
