WINNER - May 2014 ~ sea glass photo submitted by Dawn Witham in Thomaston, Maine, USA

Where was this photo taken?

This photo was taken in Tenants Harbor Maine.

Date, time of day, and weather conditions?

It was very cold out, being December in Maine.

What were your feelings or impressions when taking this photo?

Although our life was hectic, and stressful, I had a soothing calmness about me that particular day.

I was feeling grateful for what I did have, not for what I didn't.

What kind of camera and/or lens did you use?

I was using my Samsung 4 cell phone

What tips or suggestions do you have for other photographers?

Capture all the moments regardless of importance, because some shots become more important than we think.

That's the great thing about the delete button!
