Where was this photo taken?

Backfield Beach on Beals, Island, Maine

Date, time of day, and weather conditions?

Sunny morning on a day in August 2013

What were your feelings or impressions when taking this photo?

I thought it was quite whimsical to put all those "kick ups" behind a whelk.

A kick up is the bottom part of an oil or wine bottle that flairs up into the bottle.

These seasoned pieces where found on a private beach in Jonesport, Maine.

Apparently a house burned down in the early 1900's and was just plowed into the ocean.

What kind of camera and/or lens did you use?

What tips or suggestions do you have for other photographers?

Take your picture on a sunny day and don't use an Ipad, they take horrible pictures.
