Shiny blue piece, is it real?

I found this shiny blue piece early in the morning at low tide in Rye, New Hampshire, USA. Could it be real? Thank you!

Shiny glass

Hi, if it is shiny when dry, then it is likely fresh glass. If you Google oblong aquarium glass, you will see some that look like that. Natural sea glass will always have a frosted look unless wet. Nice find though!
