I have been collecting beach glass here at various local beach spots around slocan lake for the past 8 years. Mostly shards And I don’t have the heart to throw back in for fear of people stepping on them.
The beaches here are quite rocky and people are pretty mindful about litter for the most part.
One of the larger pieces I have found says “Nited Distil” Vancouver Ca, (United distillery maybe?) and REC at the bottom is brown in color.
There used to be and old hotel. We have found Very large pieces which Look to be like the bottom of shot glasses. It’s pretty rare i find frosted pieces but I do find them and they are usually small.
