This is not the bottle piece found - Sample of an old Coke bottle Atlantic City

~ question submitted by Laura of Philadelphia, PA

I was recently on a trip to Cape May, New Jersey, and found the largest piece of sea glass that I have ever come across.

It is light green in color and it says "Atlantic City N.J" on the bottom and an F in the center.

Does anyone know about any bottling companies or anything like that?

I am really curious about a decade as well...

Atlantic City N.J. Coke btl. bottom
by: J.Richard

I found a bottom of a bottle near the Cape May N.J. Sunset Beach water tower It looks like a Coke bottle bottom and says "Atlantic City N.J." just as Laura from Philadelphia described . I left it and some other sunbaked glass in a hidden spot.

I found a coke bottle on my property. On the bottom of the bottle it has "Atlantic City NJ and the letter "f". I now know the f stands for June but can anyone date the bottle. Thanks Steve

Hello,

The "F" stands for the month it was bottled & shipped out to vendors from the plant. So...the "F" would be June.
