Memories - Sea glass bowl

~ by Julie - Sydney, Australia

I am an artist that has been collecting sea glass for some time.

Last year I began studying leadlight making and was curious what I could do with my special momentoes in sea glass.

I created this bowl using leadlighting techniques with some of my special white and cyan seaglass, alternating with textured glass.

It is wonderful to see the light coming through this piece and remember where I collected my sea glass...

The photo was taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II with a 100mm macro lens
