Very deep red. Looks like an old light bulb or something. Need help with info on this please.

Very deep red. Looks like an old light bulb or something. Need help with info on this please.

Need help with this piece. Very deep deep red. Looks like an old light bulb the bottom of one at least. Up against flash light it will show how deep the red is.. need info I know it's a collector piece.

Those are called glass slag. I have several rocks of it, beautiful when I hammered them open!

Yes those are old glass insulators...they come in two sizes...nice find!

I also live in Cleveland and I believe that those are very old from the old CEI plant past Geneva. They are from very old light bulbs, perhaps 100 years old. I have one very much like it and several fragmented pieces. They are considered black but look purple in light in some places

I found something similar to this, very small piece..what i found didn't look exactly the same on top but if you shine a light on it you could see deep red. I also found another piece recently had like a deep purple edge. I think it's some type of insulator?? I will try to find the pieces I have will post pictures to compare.
