Need identification

I have a glass fishing ball that has been in the family since the 1950s when stationed in Hawaii. The glass is green, thick with markings about 3 inches from the blow port. The markings, as best as I ca relate them, are a reverse small "f" right next to a standard capital "F". The original net fell off years ago. Please also respond by email.
