Where was this photo taken?

I found this piece of beach glass on a rocky shore on the coast of Ayrshire, Scotland on afternoon this August.

I was out for a walk with my dog and just enjoying the fine weather.

I always carry my Samsung digital compact camera with me as I always like to take pictures of sunsets over the Isle of Arran and Ailsa Craig.

This was very frosted when I picked it up and I was unsure of what it really was.

It measures approx 2"x1.5"x1.5".

On close examination I can see distinct layers inside.
