Grant Park Beach - Oak Creek, WI

Depending on waves, wind and other conditions the amount of glass found can vary.

Always manage to find at least a few jewelry quality pieces in just an hour or two.

Mostly whites (very frosted), greens, browns.  Some blues, aquas and pottery.

I have found one very nice red.

Have also found bonfire glass.

Rated:

--- Good - 5 to 9 pieces of jewelry grade sea glass per hour.

Other comments:

Public beach, very clean.   Dogs allowed.

Grant Park Beach

Grant Park Beach - South Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Zero sea glass.

We'd rank this beach as POOR for sea glass and every other category.

The beach itself is filthy, riddled with food remnants, garbage and debris everywhere.

The worst part about this beach are the people.

A lot of low class people, gang activity, the works.

Saw some very offensive graffiti as well.

Definitely not a nice location for a family.

Our recommendation to any beach goer is to steer clear.

Be sure and read the opposing viewpoint with photos of marbles found:
